Social Commitments

Our Board of Directors as well as the employees are involved in a variety of voluntary works. Karassery Bank has not only dedicated itself to provide financial assistance for the local public, but also supports all efforts for the uplift of the under-privileged. Karassery Bank has been focusing on charitable works targeted on children and young people in need. Donating regularly to respected associations and foundations, the Common Good Fund of the Bank always remain fully utilized, and we often go beyond corporate responsibility to pool funds in order to help the needy.

Some of our recent social activities are:

• Supply of umbrellas for students below poverty line
• Supply of note books and school stationary materials
• Contributing towards food supply in schools
• Supplying dress materials to poor people
• Donations to palliative care of cancer patients
• Establishment of Social Mission for Improvement of Life & Environment (SMILE), a charitable society that provides:
  • Free Breakfast for Students
  • Free Mobile mortuary Service
  • Free Dialysis Service
